On April 29th, We had an Inception Workshop to kick off a beekeeping project designed to reduce human-elephant conflicts in the Western Tanzania landscape, in collaboration with our partners from Northern Tanzania @wildsurvivors.
The workshop brought together a diverse group of stakeholders, including representatives from wildlife organizations and government agencies at both village and district levels.
This collaborative effort underscores our dedication to addressing conservation issues with innovative and sustainable solutions. Beekeeping has emerged as a promising approach to foster harmony between local communities and wildlife, offering a natural and effective way to mitigate conflicts.
